The story
The first Porsche with a water-cooled front engine, the 924 introduces the transaxle layout: engine at the front, gearbox at the rear, near-perfect balance. Styled by Harm Lagaay, it was meant to be a VW — Porsche kept it in the end.
Long overlooked, the 924 has become an obvious choice: pure seventies lines, reliability, sensible running costs. The 924 Turbo and the rare Carrera GT completed its rehabilitation among collectors.
At ER Auto, the 924 is often a customer's first Porsche — and the start of a long history of parts.
