The story

Designed to replace the 911 — history decided otherwise — the 928 is Zuffenhausen's ultimate grand tourer: aluminium V8, transaxle, pop-up headlamps and drawing-room comfort.

The only sports car ever named "European Car of the Year" (1978), it ran through eighteen years of production gaining capacity and muscle, from the 240 bhp 4.5 to the 350 bhp 5.4 GTS.

At ER Auto, the 928 is a textbook case: generous electronics, model-specific hardware, parts no longer available new. Exactly the kind of challenge we enjoy.
